The Tennessee Renaissance Faire

We are two weekends into the Tennessee Renaissance Faire. The first two weekend were outstanding. Perfect weather, large enthusiastic crowds, and lots of fun. I have been performing at this festival for over 17 years and have grown to love not only the faire, but the audience and the area. Located just outside of Murfreesboro, TN and about 25 miles south of Nashville this fair is nestled in a wooded area and includes it's own castle. The Castle is the actual home of the Freeman's who own the fair. They open their home to the patrons of the fair and give tours and display an extensive collection of Medieval Armor.

I perform on the Traders Gate Stage 4 times per day and share the Stage with Axel the Sot and his outrageous songs. Other performers include Empty Hats, The Da Vinci Brothers, Paulo Garbonzo, Buckle and Swash, Robin Hood, jousters and Falconers and a huge talented cast of performers.

The Tennessee Renaissance Festival's website is http://tnrenfest.com/ and the fair runs every weekend in May and Memorial Day Monday.
